Dubai World Trade Centre:
100 KEY PATRONS OF DWTC TO PREVIEW NEW MEETING FACILITIES:
Around 100 key account representatives of the Dubai International Hotel Apartments (DIHA) will be given a comprehensive presentation about the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Complex later today (August 12th) at a special evening organised at the Novotel World Trade Centre Dubai.
"The DIHA sales department has been active and the property has maintained a very high occupancy rate throughout the summer and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our key accounts and at the same time promote our new meeting facilities to this select audience," said DWTC Director General, Mubarak bin Fahad.
He noted that the meetings market has developed into a major economic factor and offers immense potential for Dubai.
The DICC represents the coherent progression of DWTC's business and growth and is designed to provide an impetus to Dubai's status as an emerging destination for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE).
The new facility is large enough to accommodate events with up to 12,000 delegates and its main multipurpose hall has the capacity to hold from 600 to 6000 delegates and when set as an auditorium, it can accommodate 4,500 delegates.
The DIHA, situated within the DWTC Complex, provides a unique accommodation option. DIHA is one of the most attractive residential complexes in Dubai and offers 492 fully serviced apartments that are managed and owned by DWTC.
Visiting delegates and exhibitors at the Dubai International Convention Centre benefit from the flexible options of short, medium and long term stays at the apartment complex, which offers the choice of one, two and three bedroom apartments available on a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis.
In addition to being a cost effective option for larger delegations, visitors also benefit from convenient access to DICC and the exhibition halls, which are just a short walk from the apartment buildings.
