Liwa Centre is the venue for 2 biggest events:- (catching the Global Wave) "LIWA CENTRE CITY SURPRISES & CITY CONTESTS 2003" from 1st October - 31st December 2003, in the Capital City of Abu Dhabi alongwith Kids Activities such as "Clowns, Henna Painting, Cartoons & Balloons plus Raffle Draws on Luxury Cars, Electronic Items etc during every 20 days ….."

City Surprises 2003 will be followed by a series of Multicultural Heritage and Exhibitions Programmes, Food Festivals, Healthcare Promotions, Island Promotions, City of Gold Promotions and Liwa Centre Sponsored Programmes such as Ask Your Doctor Campaign, Breast Cancer Campaign, Keep Your City Clean Campaign and Abu Dhabi Tourism Promotion, Business & Industrial Meet Campaigns, Ramadhan Buffet Promotions etc., from 1st of October until 26th of November 2003. Consolation Prizes and Certificates will be provided for the Winners & Participants. The Selected Winners in this City Surprises will be eligible to participate for the City Contests 2003 during the first week of December 2003.

City Contests 2003(6-11 December) will be followed by a series of big events too. Ice Cream Festival, Food Quiz, UAE Food Court Parade, Wedding Cake Competition, Cooking Competitions, City Cooks 2003 Competitions, Honey Moon Destinations & Banquets, Conferences Promotions,(and many more) will also the memorable events for the first time in Abu Dhabi. The UAE Residents, especially from Abu Dhabi, can always cherish the memories of "LIWA CENTRE" which is the LANDMARK for City Surprises & City Contests. More over, Liwa Centre will be the venue for exchanging the views and develop business relationships between Abu Dhabi and other parts of the Emirates.

Discover Abu Dhabi, Painting Competition and Photo Contest also will be conducted to promote Abu Dhabi alongwith the National Day Celebrations.
