Education Online
Introduction
Educational
Support Services program by matcco publishers will be
implemented in coordination with a number of county entities to increase
Internet access for all county schools and improve service through the
development of an associate network. Professional development will be
offered in a variety of ways including distance learning in conjunction
with the associates. Providing training and technical assistance to
economically disadvantaged and technology poor districts will be a
priority. An online environment will be established to enable teachers
and other school staff to develop curricula and lesson plans and
share ideas.
This project is
twofold – 1) to provide online curriculum-related activities for
students and related training for educators and 2) to provide technical
support in building and maintaining technology infrastructure.
Assistance will be provided to all Educational Departments.
