Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board, or Tourism Malaysia,  is a statutory body   established
under the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board Act 1992. MTPB  is promoting Malaysia as an
outstanding tourist   destination.  Through  various  activities,  MTPB  attract   the    world’s
attention to the  splendour and   beauty    that is uniquely Malaysian and main objective   is
to increase the number of foreign tourists to Malaysia, extend   the average length of   their stay and, in doing so, increase   Malaysia’s   tourism   revenue. This will   develop   domestic tourism also while enhancing Malaysia’s share of the convention market.

Tourism Malaysia’s   activities   are     designed    to stimulate   the Malaysian   tourism   and
tourism-related industries.   This   helps    promote new    investments in the country   while
providing increased employment opportunities.   The    growth  of    Malaysian tourism  will
contribute   positively   to     economic development    and  enhance the quality of life for all
Malaysians.

Malaysia Today in the    Gulf  is marketing    Malaysia   as a destination of excellence and  to
make the tourism industry a major contributor to the socio-economic development of the
nation.        This    event   is       very    unique   and    first     time   of   its    kind   which     will   cover     all attractive    tourist   spots    of    Malaysia,    eco-tourism,   food tourism,   medical    tourism within    a     period   of   about   three   days.

Mr. Tuan Razali, Director of Tourism Malaysia,      has taken the charge recently   in     Dubai
and he is trying to expose the amazingly inspiring     sensory      experience    of    Malaysia in
the international     markets.      His     initiative  is    to    promote     Malaysia    globally    and
creates   awareness    amongst    the      foreigners    as well as in United Arab Emirates and its
