THE CHARTER OF MEDECINS SANS FRONTIERES:
MSF offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters, to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation.
MSF observes strict neutrality and impartiality in the name of universal medical ethics and the right to humanitarian assistance, and demands full and unhindered freedom in the exercise of its functions.
MSF members undertake to respect their professional code of ethics and to observe complete independence from all political, economic or religious powers.
As volunteers, members are aware of the risks and dangers of the missions they undertake and have no right to compensation for themselves or their beneficiaries other than that which MSF is able to afford them.

Thank you for your interest in supporting Médecins sans Frontières's global medical relief missions.
MSF relies mainly on donations from the public for two reasons: to ensure the freedom to provide humanitarian assistance whenever and wherever it is needed, and to be independent from political, religious or economic interests.
Some other funds are provided by foundations, corporations, non-profit organizations, international agencies and some governments.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO ?
The MSF international collectively strives to direct at least 80 % of its expenditure to program activities.
GENERAL DONATION
Your donation helps us to retain our financial independence. A general donation is used where the need is greatest and is vital to projects which are not in the lime light. We guarantee that all earmarked donations are allocated to the chosen project/mission/crisis.
MONHTLY DONATION
If you would like to know that your donation is making a difference every month, you can become a FELLOW ASSOCIATE. It is the simplest and quickest way for you to donate. It helps us to plan more efficiently, it cuts our administrative costs and enables us to allocate more funds toward the work we do for populations in danger.
