Emirates Airlines
to Implement Ultramain Software..
Dubai, United Arab
Emirates
-- Emirates, one
of the world's fastest-growing airlines, will
implement Ultramain maintenance and logistics
software to maintain its fleet of Airbus and
Boeing aircraft. Ultramain is a suite of
integrated modules that addresses the full
spectrum of airline maintenance needs, providing
a complete maintenance and engineering software
system in one comprehensive package. The
implementation begins in May 2006 at Emirates'
extensive new engineering center at Dubai
Airport, where a team of Emirates and Ultramain
Systems, Inc. ("USI") systems professionals will
manage the multifaceted process of migrating
from legacy systems to the Ultramain
environment.
Emirates is actively evaluating USI's
FastPath(TM) implementation methodology, which
allows new Ultramain customers to more quickly
realize the benefits of Ultramain's
extensive maintenance and logistics management
capabilities.
"We anticipate opting for FastPath because we
want to realise the business benefits of
Ultramain as quickly as possible," said Andrew
Hoad, Emirates' Senior Vice President
of Engineering Support Services. "The Ultramain
software will play a significant role in
supporting our Engineering operations as we
continue to add new aircraft to our fleet to
accommodate our expanding services, so it's
important that we move into production with
Ultramain quickly."
"As one of today's most successful airlines,
Emirates exemplifies how successful rapid growth
can be achieved with careful management and
attention to customer service," said Mark
McCausland, President of USI. "With its
extensive functionality and flexible
architecture, Ultramain will provide Emirates
with the capability to support their rapid fleet
expansion without compromising on maintenance
standards."
