YHA Dubai is located between Al Mulla Plaza and the Al Bustan Centre on the same side of the road near the Al Ahli club. There are now apparently two hostels on the same site referred to as " Old" and "New":

If you're looking for a cheap place to stay overnight:
the Youth Hostel is great! Brand new rooms with twin beds, AC, TV, fridge, own bathroom, and there's a cafeteria inside and a bus stop in front! Takes you 15 minutes / 1 Dh. to the gold souq by bus from there.
